Pallas spurge - use in medicine

Pallas or Fischer's spurge is one of the most famous representatives of the whole genus of spurge. Another name for this plant has gone to the people - a man-root. It was not by chance that Pallas's spurge got it.

First, the root of a plant, if dug up and cleaned of the earth, looks very much like a human figurine. The root forms of milkweed, mandrake and ginseng are somewhat similar.

Secondly, thanks to the substances contained in Pallas milkweed, it is an excellent remedy for restoring the balance of male sex hormones in the body, and, therefore, it has a beneficial effect on male potency.

In general, for a long time, all types of milkweed have been known as intestinal laxatives. This action is explained by the fact that the anthraglycosides that are part of the plants have an irritating effect on the intestinal mucosa.

If we take into account the positive effect of Pallas milkweed substances on male hormones, then it is possible to recommend taking infusions and decoctions based on it in the following cases:

  • prostate adenoma;
  • chronic manifestations of prostatitis;
  • various lesions of the testicles (for example, after measles);
  • erectile dysfunction.

It is known that the female body also has a share of male sex hormones. Therefore, infusions and decoctions based on Pallas milkweed are also useful for the weaker sex. They are used to treat uterine fibroids and mastopathy.

The advantages of Pallas milkweed include the content of a large amount of selenium in it. This element is indispensable in the treatment of diseases affecting the hematopoietic system, for example, with anemia, for the restoration of blood functions after chemotherapy, radiation therapy.
