Myrtle: care and breeding

Myrtle is a well-known and quite popular plant, which is an evergreen bush. Since this plant is quite thermophilic, in our climate it is most widely used as a houseplant. Myrtle, the care of which is not so difficult, appeared in our lovers of indoor plants relatively recently, however, during this short period of time it managed to win the great love of flower growers.

Caring for myrtle at home does not require any complicated procedures, but some attention is still required for this plant. One of the main conditions for successful breeding of myrtle, perhaps, can be called lighting. Myrtle loves bright light, so it's best to place it on the sunniest windowsill in your home. In addition, myrtle is very sensitive to the sun's rays, so it can tilt towards the sun. In order to avoid the curvature of the plant, the pot of myrtle must be rotated periodically.

Myrtle also loves fresh air and drafts, so you need to ventilate it as often as possible. As for the temperature, this plant is able to tolerate it from 0 to 40 degrees, but myrtle cannot withstand frosts due to its southern origin. In winter, it is better for him to provide a temperature of 8-10 degrees by exposing the plant to the balcony. This is best done for the reason that at room temperature, myrtle leaves may begin to fall off.

Thus, myrtle, the care of which is not at all difficult to establish, can become a wonderful inhabitant of an apartment, delighting with its beautiful view and pleasant smell.

Very beautiful and easy to care for - what else is needed? Quite a beautiful plant, and after what time it needs to be transplanted - their roots are not very large, so the pot will not be large?
