Pole grass

Pole grass is a type of ornamental lawn grass. It is planted in gardens, green areas of parks, green areas near shops, businesses and organizations, near private houses, where they plan to have beautiful grass without weeds, where you can walk barefoot, make a playground for children, spend time in nature. Pole grass came to us from eastern and southern Europe. It does not need to be cut constantly, as it belongs to low-growing cereal plants, and grows wider, not upward.

The shoots bent grows only 10 centimeters in height, very thin and pleasant to the touch. In addition, it grows rapidly to form a velvety green carpet. One feature that you need to look out for when growing it is that the bent borer does not like drought. It needs to be watered so it can grow normally. You can propagate the grass by chopping up a small bunch. Shredded grass must be placed in the ground and watered.
After a while, a new herb is formed.

Pole grass can grow anywhere, without requiring special fertilization of the soil, but it is still better to apply fertilizer.

Pole grass loves a well-lit place, but also feels fine in partial shade.

Its seeds are very small, resembling dust. To sow the area well, you need 1-2 kilograms per 1 square meter. Grass is sown by mixing it with wet sawdust 1:10 into fertilized soil prepared for sowing.

It, forming a carpet cover, retains moisture in the ground, which prevents excessive drying of the soil.
