How to plant fragrant tobacco?

Fragrant tobacco is a simple, unassuming plant that may not attract attention with its appearance, but it can turn the garden into a fragrant corner, and thanks to its strong phytoncides, it protects itself and neighboring plants from pests.
In order for the fragrance to please you early, fragrant tobacco must be grown through seedlings, and for this, in March, the seeds are sown on seedlings in a warm place where additional lighting can be created. Since the seeds are small, they can be mixed with a small amount of dry sand in order to evenly, if possible, distribute over the surface of the earth in a tray, the seeds do not need to be covered with earth, but they must be slightly pressed into the ground. Cover the tray with glass or transparent film and put it where the temperature is not lower than 19 degrees.
The first shoots will appear after fourteen days, they should be carefully monitored that the moisture was wet, but not too wet. After the twenty-first day after sowing has passed, the first real leaf will appear in the tobacco, when the second leaf appears, the seedlings must be cut into separate containers. There, it will begin to grow rapidly and get stronger, and it should be watered as the soil dries up. Before planting in the ground, the seedlings must be hardened so that they can tolerate the sun and wind and open air normally.
Fragrant tobacco is planted when it becomes steadily warm, observing the distance between the plants of twenty centimeters. It is better to plant in a sunny place, where the soil is fertile, you need to water it once a week. When buds appear on the bush, the tobacco should be fed the first time, the second time should be fed when the plants bloom.
Tobacco blooms and fragrant until late autumn, if you do not collect the seeds, then the next year self-seeding will grow, but it will begin to bloom only at the end of July.
You can grow tobacco yourself, when you have somewhere to do it, for example, we have such an opportunity in the country, but no one does this because there are no smokers in the house. I am somehow not willing to plant for my girlfriends.
But this is not the kind of tobacco that is smoked)))))) This plant really smells great and blooms beautifully (it's a pity that the flowers bloom only in the evening). But you can plant it mixed with petunias, then the flowerbed will look very beautiful on a hot day.
