Exotic fuchsia indoor in the house

Elegant indoor fuchsia is very exotic. This is usually a tree or shrub, the plastic branches of which are covered with medium-sized leaves - green or reddish. Fuchsia is loved for its long flowering, usually flowers cover the entire bush.

Fuchsia room in care

Indoor fuchsia comes in a variety of colors. Future flowers emerge from areas of the leaf axils. This plant has a flower, as it were, composed of two parts:

  • corolla bright calyx;
  • tubular corolla with bent delicate leaves.

The petals are shorter than the lobes of the calyx, and the stamens, on the contrary, are longer than the calyx. When the flowering period passes, a kind of fruit appears. Fuchsia requirements are quite numerous. This is a capricious plant that, with proper care, can die from an aphid invasion. The average temperature level at which fuchsia can live is about 20 degrees in summer, and in winter it needs about 10 degrees.

This plant really needs light. It should go absentmindedly, from direct sunlight, the plant can get irreparable burns. In summer, the plant needs abundant watering. The soil must always be of a moist type. In winter, it is reduced to moderate, it depends on the temperature. If the fuchsia has begun to shed flowers, it means that it does not have enough watering.
It propagates easily in spring or summer through cuttings, while January is a suitable month for sowing. Fuchsia needs to be replanted annually, preferably in spring. Pruning is obligatory - in autumn and spring. A pallet with wet pebbles will help out on a hot day - room fuchsia feels better on it.

I love this flower very much. I have the most common at home, with pink flowers. I will say right away the flower is picky, so you need to get used to it; it loves care, the right place.
