Photos of blueberries will help you figure it out

Photos of blueberries can be found on the World Wide Web, and you can see from them that blueberries are different. There are common blueberries, which are wild and grow in forests, and there are cultivated varieties, the so-called "garden doves". In gardens, common blueberries are more likely to not take root, but garden blueberries, with proper care and subject to planting rules, feel great in our gardens and bear fruit well.

A photo of blueberries that are suitable for garden cultivation shows that these blueberries have larger berries than ordinary blueberries, and they are not inferior in the content of nutrients and vitamins.

Blueberries are very useful, it is advisable to use them for many diseases, for problems with the heart and gastrointestinal tract, for rejuvenating the body and improving vision, etc.

Common blueberries can be harvested in many forests of our region, if they grow in the forest, then they cover significant areas.

Garden blueberries, unlike blueberries, grow up to two meters and for their successful cultivation it is necessary:

  • purchase seedlings in a proven nursery;
  • give her a sunny place in the garden so that the winds do not torment her too much;
  • provide it with acidic soil, if the soil is not what suits it, blueberries will not develop well and bear fruit;
  • drainage is required, if the soil is heavy, if the groundwater comes too close to the surface, then blueberries are planted on a specially prepared mound;
  • when blueberry seedlings are four years old, they need regular and good watering;
  • blueberries cannot be fertilized with ash, animal manure, animal compost, they need coniferous sawdust and sour peat.

Blueberries are not demanding to care for, they need to be mulched with mulch up to ten centimeters, they usually do not require shelter for the winter, but at the risk of a harsh earth, it is better to spud well and cover with non-woven material or spruce branches.
