Jasmine multiflorous: features of plant care

Multiflower jasmine is an exquisite and delicate houseplant with delicate feathery leaves and flowers, the white stars of which are collected in large inflorescences emitting a refined aroma. It is distinguished by its impressive size: the length of its branches often reaches one and a half to two meters. If you want to buy it from a flower shop, choose a plant with buds: it will bloom soon, and you can admire it for a long time. By the way, after the flowers wither, it is advisable to cut off all long branches by about two-thirds to form a beautiful neat bush.

Multi-flowered jasmine is very fond of light, so for a pot with it you will have to choose the most lighted place. During the period of active growth, the plant needs watering every two days, and during dormancy, which lasts from October to March, no more than twice a week. At the same time, it is important to ensure a sufficient level of humidity. The easiest way to do this is by spraying regularly and placing the pot in a pan with a layer of wet gravel.

Jasmine should be repotted every year, immediately after the end of flowering and the subsequent pruning of branches. As for the soil, it should consist of equal parts of greenhouse land, unknown soil, and sand. After flowering, which takes a lot of energy from jasmine, you need to take care of its regular fertilization: for six months, every fifteen days, add liquid fertilizer for indoor plants to the soil (jasmine also reacts very well to the composition for geraniums).
