How to care for a pear

It would seem that difficult can be in growing and caring for ordinary fruit trees, such as a pear? But like any other tree, a pear requires compliance with several rules in its cultivation and good fruiting. Back in the 17th century, one of the famous French fruit growers said that no garden can be complete if there is no pear in it. And in ancient times, it was the pear that was called the fruit of the gods.

So how to care for a pear so that this fruit of the gods is always on our table?

Firstly, it is very important to plant a tree in a bright place, since a pear blooms only in well-lit places, which means it also bears fruit generously.

Secondly, the pear tree must be shaped so that the sun falls on each leaf and on each twig. Especially in the morning, when all the most important processes for health and fruiting take place in the leaves. Due to a lack of light on certain branches, flowers will not develop, and therefore fruits. Therefore, the branches that go inside the tree must be cut off. Well, in no case should the pear itself be planted against the wall - it simply will not delight you with its juicy fruits.

Thirdly, only in the most severe drought a pear can be watered with additional water. On ordinary days without rain, a pear with its long roots will extract earth from the ground. The ground near the tree must be periodically loosened up.

Fourthly, like any plant, a pear needs feeding, you can only once a year - with mineral and organic fertilizers, which contain nitrogen.

These simple basic rules of care can be distinguished by answering the question of how to care for a pear.

The pear is very spoiled. But I would not say that she is too sun-loving. Here it grows behind a row of apple trees and has not yet grown high, but it bears fruit well despite the darkening. It is necessary to dig in and apply fertilizer in the spring.
