Perennial eustoma - a bouquet of one plant

Perennial eustoma is a gentian plant that grows in the wild in the southern regions of North America and the arid regions of northern Mexico.

Plants of this family contain many useful substances, which have long allowed a person to use them as a medicine. Interest in these plants had a detrimental effect on their population, giving rise to some to be included in the Red Book.

In Mexico, in its homeland, Eustoma has an extraordinary popularity, comparable only to the love of local people for cacti.

Florists Eustoma perennial began to be used relatively recently. Despite its decorativeness, a large number of flowers on one stem, allowing to make a bouquet from one plant, its branches were not suitable for making bouquets. The work of breeders who bred Eustoma varieties with an erect long stem increased the popularity of this plant. There were also varieties with double flowers.

Delicate tubular flowers of an exotic plant, painted in watercolors of all colors of the rainbow, are also loved by domestic flower growers. In Russia, perennial eustoma is grown at home, in greenhouses. But it is worth knowing that growing and breeding it is quite difficult, since it requires knowledge about its content and special skills.

It is customary to give eustoma to young girls. This delicate flower is more than suitable for decorating any festive table (especially a New Year's feast). It is also used in the composition of bouquets, including it in other exotic plants.
