You can also sow directly into the open ground, but it is important that the frost is already over. You can, of course, sow in winter, but with spring sowing, germination is much better.

When planting, keep a distance of 10-15 cm. Mattiola is not a very demanding plant. She loves fertile soil and good lighting. When watering, it is important not to overflow or dry out the soil. It is useful to fertilize with complex fertilizer once a month.
