Sowing cabbage for seedlings

I think it is no secret to anyone that cabbage is truly a storehouse of all kinds of vitamins, nutrients and minerals. Moreover, it should be noted that during thermal and other treatments, cabbage does not lose its beneficial properties.
And so, let's proceed to growing cabbage on our site. Cabbage is best planted in early June, or the last days of May, if the soil is already warmed up enough. But after all, before planting it is worth getting seedlings! You can certainly buy ready-made seedlings, but who knows what will come of it. Experienced gardeners are advised to grow seedlings on their own, which does not cause any particular difficulties.
In the last decade of March, you should start sowing seeds for seedlings. It is necessary to take a prepared sowing box filled with sterile soil (2/3 of the box) and plant seeds in it at a distance of 1.5 - 2 cm from each other, to a depth of 1 cm.It is worth noting that the box can be either wooden or plastic, and if there is no such planting tool lying around on the farm, then you can use plastic cups from sour cream, yoghurts, etc.
After the appearance of the first leaves on the sprouted seedlings, you can begin to cut them open.
To grow seedlings without subsequent picking, you should take a planting box 8 cm deep and the distance between the seeds should be at least 5 cm.
It is also recommended to properly harden the seedlings before planting.
Thus, it is possible to plant seedlings of late, early, medium and cauliflower.
