Tomatoes in buckets - it turns out you can grow tomatoes and thus

Each of those who are truly interested in growing garden crops, over time, accumulates useful and interesting experience. Moreover, sometimes even accidental situations can allow an amateur gardener to make his little discovery. What an amazing way to grow tomatoes in buckets, for example.

It turns out that tomato seedlings planted in old leaky buckets with ordinary humus not only did not suffer, but also began to grow much faster than tomatoes planted in greenhouse soil in the usual way. Moreover, the plants set up a larger number of fruits larger than their greenhouse counterparts of the same variety. Surprisingly, the bushes in buckets are much more powerful, they form the crop more actively, and the period of their fruiting is significantly lengthened.

Gardeners engaged in this kind of experiments explain this phenomenon with the following reason: the root system of a plant in a bucket warms up much better, and water also warms up faster, which is watered by plants that are in the soil at a depth of 25-30 cm, the roots are forced to absorb water and nutrients at a temperature that below the air temperature by 6-8 degrees. It turned out that the roots of the plant did not suffer at all from the direct contract with the metal buckets. On the contrary, due to good heating, their growth increased and the plant began to receive more nutrients.

An interesting method - growing tomatoes in buckets, can be experienced by gardeners with small greenhouse areas. It is easy to do this, this method somewhat reduces labor costs and at the same time allows you to grow a good early harvest of tomatoes.

My neighbor on the dacha plot tried to grow tomatoes in buckets, but something "didn't work out" for him. I have not tried growing tomatoes in buckets yet, although I actually liked the idea.

Tomatoes can also be grown in buckets. The volume of land for one tomato bush must be at least 5 liters. Adequate lighting, feeding is the main thing. You can also grow on the balcony, if you wish.
