Corydalis in the photo looks adorable

The Corydalis got their amazing name most likely for the bizarre shape of the flowers, the diameter of which is about 2 cm. The Corydalis in the photo looks quite attractive, its flowers have bright "eyes" that attract insects. The illusion of a peephole is created due to the different colors of the inner and outer petals of the flower. The bright flowers of the corydalis are collected in peduncles, up to 30 flowers on each, they form lush inflorescences that retain their decorative effect throughout the week. The leaves of the plant have a bluish or bluish tint, a bizarre openwork shape. Blooming of tuberous species of crested beetles occurs in April, rhizome species bloom much later - in late spring or early summer.

The formation of the vegetative organs of the plant occurs immediately after flowering. By autumn, a bud is formed at the top of the tuber, which will sprout in March; it is protected from frost by a scaly leaf. With the onset of spring, the fox is torn apart and the plant begins to grow intensively. It reaches a height of 20 cm in just a few days, then the active flowering of the plant begins.

The blooming crested crested bird in the photo looks extremely attractive. After a week, the flowers begin to lose color, then fruits appear in their place, similar to pods or capsules. They should be collected on time and carefully - the fruits crack very easily and the lost seeds will be taken away by ants.

The germination period of seeds is short, about a week, so they should be sown immediately after harvesting in light soil to a depth of about 1 cm. It is advisable to mulch the land with crops and monitor its moisture content. Transplanting grown plants to a permanent place should be performed in August. The flowering of seedlings of plants can begin in 2-3 years.
