Tomato Bella

Bella's tomato is a vegetative type plant with short internodes. The tomato produces four or even more fruits in one inflorescence. The first inflorescence is laid over the ninth leaf, and the next ones - every three leaves. The number of nests is at least four. The plant is balanced, strong and semi-open. It is very flexible and forgiving some technology mistakes.

Tomatoes are highly transportable, they can be stored for a long time without losing their presentation.

Growing Tomato Bella

Grow tomatoes in greenhouses or film shelters, as well as in open ground. The tomato is adapted for growing in winter-spring, summer-autumn and autumn-winter periods.

When growing this variety in a seedless way, it is important that the soil already had time to warm up enough. Its temperature should not be lower than + 10 ... + 12 degrees at a depth of five centimeters. If the tomato is grown using seedlings, then it is planted after the spring frost has finally stopped.

It is important to start growing seedlings two months before they are planted outdoors. Seeds are sown to a depth of one to two centimeters. If the temperature does not drop below +20 degrees, then shoots can be expected on the fifth day.

Further, it is necessary that the temperature was no more than +18 degrees during the day and +14 degrees at night. After picking, the seedlings must be shaded for several days (about 3 days) and kept at a temperature of +22 degrees for a week. Seedlings are watered only when necessary.

Tomato Bella

Before planting seedlings in open ground, it must be hardened for 10 days. This is done by gradually lowering the temperature, both during the day and at night.

After planting in the ground, the roots of the seedlings are covered with earth until the cotyledon leaves. If the seedlings are stretched too far, then they are planted at an angle, while falling asleep a third of the stem. After that, abundant watering is important, which should gradually become moderate before the appearance of the first fruits.

This tomato variety ripens after transplanting in about 65 days.

Additional advice: before sowing seeds on seedlings, they must be soaked in a nutrient solution. There are many options. You can use nitrophosphate and wood ash (1 tsp per 1 liter of water in both cases). Other commercial organic fertilizers will work as well.

Before starting to soak the seeds, they must be placed in a cloth bag. Soak for a day in a solution, the temperature of which should not be lower than +20 degrees. The next step is to place the seed bag in a plastic bag and the bag in the refrigerator. Store there for a couple of days. After such hardening, the seeds are sown immediately. Shoots will be faster and of better quality.

  • Watering.

Bella's tomato does not need abundant watering, as it belongs to drought-resistant varieties. More intensive watering is necessary only after planting seedlings in open ground.

  • Soil and fertilizer.

The most favorable for Bella tomato is loose and moisture-consuming soil, which has a neutral or slightly acidic reaction. The soil should be rich in organic matter. Therefore, two weeks after planting, fertilizing with mineral fertilizers is necessary at the rate of 20 grams per 10 liters of water. The fertilizer rate can be further increased up to 50 grams for the same volume of water.

Tomatoes can be preceded by crops such as vegetables, winter crops and legumes. Planting cucumbers earlier on the site will have a particularly positive effect, Luke, cauliflower and early cabbage.

So, Bella's tomato is suitable for growing in almost any conditions. And if you consider that this tomato also provides a guaranteed harvest, then growing it is worthwhile.

I have not planted such a hybrid variety of tomatoes on the site. Huge bunches of tomato are struck in it, just like grapes. Moreover, all the fruits are quite large. Considering that they ripen very early, you can get a good harvest in the middle of summer. This year I will try to plant this variety of tomatoes.
